5 G commercial

The telecom industry's selling claim is that 5G becomes "faster, safer and smarter", but various critics and experts dismiss most things:

Faster: If you use low-performance Wi-Fi today, you will notice the difference in speed, but hardly if you use cable / fiber.

Safer: (Relating to secure info transfer - not the aspects of health or environment.) The security is not solved yet (and it's a matter more relevant to companies than to the public).

"Smart" really means more "artificial intelligence" (A.I.) and wireless, as well as more connected devices (internet of things) ... and thus increased exposure.

Sometimes 5G is promoted as more energy efficient*, which can be true with the small cells. But base stations use more energy (especially Macro sized). And the enormous amount of devices and signals add up to a large amount of energy.  And generally wireless uses more than wired.
* More efficient than 4G - which would be relevant if 5G replaced 4G, but it doesn't.

NOTE: 3G & 4G doesn't disappear - 5G is added.
Thus, You don't have to buy a 5G-product to have wireless functions in Your life.
But if we should believe commercials (from Space X, OneWeb, Amazon etc) we need many 5G-products and >90.000 satellites ... creating a "global hive mind".
